We, as little toddlers, Have looked at teenagers, smiled at them, admired their funky style of clothing, and thought, "darn. If only I could grow up right now!"
Well, as for now, if only we knew a switch to go back to our childhood. I know, its just that relatable! Money, studies, family pressure, collectively looks down on us as a dragon, constantly reminding us that we may have grown up in size, but they still stand superior on us. And that's what we call growing up process!
We are still in a lot of advantage though. Changing times, changing technology, coming as a saviour to provide us with our little issues, from boredom - to finance!
So guys, let me tell you this. It was May. Scorching heat, with my best friend's birthday heating up, and my mom's constant questions as to whether I am doing good at maintaining my paytm balance or not! I was in a dilemma, whether to gift my friend something good, or to keep my mom happy. Needless to say, I wanted both at once. But how?
Well anyway, the day came up, and having no cash in hand, I decided to please my bestie with a cute pocket diary, leading to my money balance on paytm showing 0.005. I wasn't bugged by it until my mom started to ask and poke me about it again the next day. I knew that she knows that I must have spent it on my best friend, so I asked her to give a little amount of time.
I suddenly remembered the ad that I exitted as a random pop up on my screen. I remembered the icon, black wallet with a red G. Then the name - "what was it... Godindia??" Trust me guys I googled it with that name. And thanks to google, GigIndia app showed up right as the first option!
I installed it, checked out start up gigs to choose, and did a gig that was suitable according to my preference. And lo! Here, I got 100 rupees for my gig.
Be it 100 rupees, but atleast i had some numbers greater than 0. I showed it to my mom with full pride on my face, with my mom replying "nalaayak. Atleast its not 0."
It kind of shattered my confidence, but, okay, atleast it rescued me! Better than loans though. Thank you GigIndia!
